| Meetings and Althings Whenever two or more Vikings assemble at the same location be it for event, practice, or even non-amtgard related event, a meeting must be held to celebrate the fun and spirit of the game. Should the Viking King be present at this location, he/she is to act as the host of the meeting and direct the flow of espirit de corps. A company Althing must be scheduled once a month to review the company business of the proceeding month and to plan for the business of the upcoming month. Additional Althings are to be held at every Amtgard non-fighter practice event, and on occasion of the requesting of a Bondi seeking Jarl status. It is preferred that the latter case be handled only at events and not normal fighter practice meetings or althings, but this is not required as an absolute. All may attend meetings regardless of level within the company, be it Thrall, Bondi, or Jarl. In the case of company Althings, only Jarl may attend except for admittance Althings in which case the requesting Bondi is to be present. The requesting Bondi is to remain for the entirety of the Althing from start to finish as they have earned the right for consideration and thus should not be denied the courtesy of collective. |
