SELF-DEFENSE
FOR THE CONFEDERATE GUERRILLA
Page 4
The ability to defend one's self or others from attack was once a given among Southern men. No longer. Now, due to the feminization of society and the virtual emasculation of white males, such an ability can no longer be presumed. It is however, even more of a necessity now than it was on the frontier. Anyone, especially whites, and whites who dare to display the Confederate Flag in particular, are considered fair game by the lower elements of society and those who encourage them; therefore, the ability to take care of yourself is not an option; it is a requirement.

Buy a good, reliable
modern handgun (Leave the nostalgia for the reenactments) that holds several shots and is powerful enough to knock a man down and keep him there. Learn how to use it; if you don't know, take a class to learn how. There's no shame in ignorance as long as you correct it. Check and understand your laws thoroughly, then carry it with you.

A good lock-blade pocket knife with a razor edge is another good equalizer, but one that you also have to practice with. The same with a cane, which has the added advantage of being legal everywhere that I know of.

Study a fighting art or two, Eastern or Western according to your inclinations; just don't be ripped off by hype. Military fighting arts as taught to SEALS or other commandos can be effective, even though they are pretty basic. The reason that they are effective has much less to do with the fighting system than it has to do the fact that they are generally preformed by strong young men in peak physical condition, whose training has developed an ability to absorb pain and a killer instinct. What works great for someone who can run 10 miles with a full pack and bench press 400  pounds won't necessarily be as effective when preformed by a normal, fairly sedentary man. Despite what people will try to tell you (read: sell you), there is no one superior fighting system; if there was, we'd all use that one.

Whatever method you choose, remember this: get yourself in as good a physical shape as possible, and
never, ever fight fair. Fighting in this modern world, or fighting for your country has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the "field of honor." Get that out of your head right now. You're not two highschool football players in the '50's fighting over a cheerleader behind the malt shop. If you are attacked over the flag in particular, you are fighting not only for your life, but for your country. Win at any cost, using any means necessary.

Just remember this old, time-proven adage:

"
When you lack in strength and size, pick up something to equalize."
SIGN SAVVY
We all know that signs are a very important part of protests, so here are some tips to get the most out of yours.

Make certain that it's not only readable, but that it's spelled correctly.

Sometimes you can't get into certain events, say those involving politicians or professional race baiters such as the SPLC if you are carrying a sign that disagrees with them or casts doubt upon their parentage. Not a problem. Simply get a pair of signs supporting them, and staple them together with the real sign between them. Once inside, pull out the staples and show them what you really think.

Whenever going to a big rally where you think that there might be trouble, staple your sign to something strong, such as a hardwood dowel an inch - inch and a quarter diameter. If it hits the fan, quickly peel off the sign and have a little game of baseball with you as the batter.

Either regular flag poles or those made from long dowels can be used to carry flags in parades, and should be capped with a nice, shiny brass point, kind of like a spear. Need I say more?
