Positioning for Power: Gaining positions of influence to further the Cause
In order to see the eventual independence of Dixie, it is necessary to put out own people into positions of power and influence, positions that they can then use to bring about change in both policy and in minds. I'm not necessarily talking about a straight-on flag-waving charge on the Yankee lines, although we do need those for morale purposes; instead, I'm referring to a quiet infiltration into the points of societal influence until the whole structure is undermined by our moles. The key to success is to keep it low-key and keep your mouth shut. You are undercover, and to be effective, you must remain that way. Every person who knows what you are about increases you chances of failure by being found out by another power. If the chance of discovery is C, then if another person knows it is C2; if two know, your chances of being ratted out are C3, and so on. This goes for everything that you do. Keep that in mind - always! There are many positions that Southern Nationalists can take that will give the opportunity to make real changes. Listed below are just a few. Politician: This is the most obvious. Many Southerners with political inclinations can get elected, at least to local positions, or can aid others in their own bids until they are owed enough favors to become a major influence. The Southern Nationalist can run openly under the Southern Party banner, or he can be a "stealth candidate", running either as an independent or even as an infiltrator in one of the major parties, as long as his dedication is strong enough that he doesn't succumb to the lure of their corruption. He can then begin to make the changes that are needed, and that will pave the way for the South to rise again. Judge or magistrate: Judges have amassed immense power unto themselves until they are virtual tyrants, and it is a power that is seldom challenged. They ability of a Southern Nationalist who can manage to reach such a position to change things and protect his fellow Southerners is nearly unlimited. Use your imagination. Businessman: Here is another good one, not least because you can get big enough to influence the politicians with either pressure or "contributions" of one sort or another. You can also strengthen the movement by secretly giving hiring preferences to other Southern Nationalists, giving better deals to companies run by them, and by tacitly encouraging them to celebrate their culture in the workplace. Teacher: There's no better way to win this long-term war than to mold the minds of the next generation, and there's no better way to do that than to become a teacher, particularly in the fields of history, social studies, or English. In history, it is very easy (particularly since it is true) to instill a knowledge of real history favorable to the South, and a pride in the Southern student's ancestry. The same goes for English, as important Southern documents and literature can be read and analyzed extensively. With a little forethought, it is not necessary to expose your agenda openly; simply provide the selected truthful information in the right order, and the children will come up with the right answers themselves. Preacher - Sunday School Teacher: Christianity is too important to become either just to advance the Cause; however, if you have the calling, you don't have to abandon Southern Nationalism: the pulpit has traditionally been a forge of patriotism, so use the opportunity that you have been given. What better examples to put forth to the congregation of Christian character than Jackson, Lee, Davis, and Dabney? What better example of Christian courage than young Sam Davis choosing to hang rather than betray a friend and comrade? And what better example of apostasy than the transcendentalism of the abolitionists? These are just some ideas, but remember this when you choose your career: it's just as easy to choose on that will help your country, the Confederate States of America.
NO FLAG STICKS? NO PROBLEM!
Certain scalawags, most notably at Ole Miss, have tried to eliminate Confederate Flags at sporting events by banning sticks for "safety reasons". One of them even made the comment recently while bragging about his despiseable action that, "It's not much of a flag if it's not on a stick!" Au contraire, you pointy-headed intellectual! Unless you're an amputee, you have a stick with you at all times - your good right arm! Simply sew a pair of elastic loops to the edge of your flag, or tie them through the grommet holes, then slip the loops over your arm. Shoot your right arm into the air with a clenched fist and the Southern Cross waving from your forearm, and the effect is quite dramatic and not a little intimidating, particularly when done en masse with a collective Rebel Yell!
