| About us
Right now this lists the two of us - later as
more people are engaged and fully committed to this work - others
will appear.
John Lynch
I am a 39 year old single chap - a
fairly well known face in dance circles in Stroud and I have lived in
Stroud since November 2007. I have been passionate about community for
about 20 years and involved in various forms of community building for
about ten years. My passion has led me to involvement with the network
Community Building in Britain, to life in an intentional community in
Oxfordshire and
recently to facilitation training and my own community building workshops
and events.
I run a regular dance space in
Stroud called 'shapes
of...' and have a part time job in Bristol. Authentic
communication and a deeper sense of sharing and intimacy are things I
yearn for. I also have an infectious enthusiasm for music and dance and
have developed my own fusion of community building with movement and dance
called 'moving
into community'
Some people say I have a rather dry
sense of humour! :-)
Jackie Rowanly
Jackie Rowanly - living in separate
units sustaining ourselves individually or in couples/families makes no
sense to me. I have experienced living in a small community based on
loving open and honest communication and a mindful relationship with
nature. We grew much of our own food, bought provisions wholesale,
shared cars and bikes and were working on generating our own power. This
is what I am part of creating here in the Stroud area.
The calendar tells me I am 54!
I run a counselling and supervision practice called Conversations From
The Heart. I love tango and this beautiful planet that we have inherited
