May....it continues...
Wednesday May 12th...later that evening...

WOW!  After I typed my letter of resignation tonight I began job seraching.  I found TWO postings in my county for a school nurse position!  I am very excited as I had applied to several school systems before applying to hospitals/dr offices. The jobs were just posted yesterday!  As I said in my earlier post...everything happens for a reason!  Maybe I am to have one of these jobs!  I soooooooo hope so!  I'd looooove to be a school nurse!  I'd be around children all day, helping, educating about health issues, administering meds and hearing and vision screen :D

One position is for one of the elementary schools, the other is for the middle school.  I sent an e-mail to the elementary school, letting them know that I was interested and asked if I should send my resume in Word or Works format.  The middle school didn't have an email address!!! I printed off my resume, typed up a cover and poped it in the mailbox. I can't wait to hear something!

Thursday May 13th

Holy crap!  I received an email back at 7 AM this morning about the school nurse position!  They told me what format to send, so I did.  I received a phone call at 8: 25 as I was walking out the door to go to work!  I almost didn't answer it, but turned back!  I have an interview on Tue!  WOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've got to find a spell!!!

Friday May 14th

My hubby and I are celebrating our anniversary this weekend, we are supposed to go out of town.  We are going to the Ren Fest, we do that every year.  He is supposed to RE propose since he did such a shitty job the first time and supposed to get me a good mushy card (but only if it's accurate!) because he's never done that before...First I have to take our son to his g-grandparents though before our weekend begins!

Sunday May 16th

Hmmmm...well, everything didn't go as planned, we ended up coming back home, which I figured we probably would anyway....(sigh).  We had fun though! Fri. evening I ended up getting my hair done because it was the only time I could get in (I have that interview Tue ya know!) and so he went to karate.  I didn't get home until almost 10:30, he was playing videogames and I just went to bed and read for a bit.

Sat. morning we got up and headed to the
Ga Ren Fest which was FUN FUN FUN!  We had some peasant follwing us around for a bit saying things like, "Don't pay any attention to me...I'm just a lowly peasant....No, no!  Don't look at me!  You do your job and I'll do mine...." So freakin' funny.  Later my hubby and I were discussing it and we were both reminded of Monty Python, so we must have heard it there!  I made the large purchase of 4 eye droppers for my essential oils ($1) and my hubby made the purchase of a (another) dagger ($10).  We are such big spenders.  I drooled for a while though over several swords.

The hubby had major gas all day long, so I spent a great deal of time running away from him.

Later in the evening we came back home and went to eat at our favorite Japanese rest. called Shoki (that probably means something like "all you americans are stupid, japanese are better) and then went to the mall.  I had to stop into a store though and buy a new shirt since I dropped ginger salad dressing on my WHITE shirt (sigh).  We went into Rich's and sniffed perfume for about 1/2 hr trying to decide on one we both liked. We ended up chosing the new Poision (Hypnotic I think).  Of course he was farting all over the store too and I had to walk quickly away from him.  He kept doing it in the middle of isles (SBDs) and then sidling off to the side to watch people walk through them.  What a way to spend an anniversary.  Guys are so strange.  They were totally pugnent btw...many faces were made (snicker).  My husband is really intelligent and comes from  a descent family...he will be 38 in a few weeks....apparently guys never outgrow the fasination of their own bodily functions (and odors!).

We came back home, watched Texas Chainsaw Masacre, he "did his duty" and I went to sleep while he stayed up....

Today we are each on our own computers doing our own thing...back to normal!  Our son will be home for dinner....
