From the Web

A few Links

International Rhino Foundaton
Check out this web site for some great information about all 5 rhino species. This organization is devoted to rhino conservation and along with providing us with some great facts, they keep us informed on their efforts to save the rhinos throughout the world. You can even adopt a rhino! There are also some interactive games you can play when you stop by.

Rhino Rembrandts
One of my favorite links is about these rhinos who paint! At the Cincinatti Zoo, as part of a conservation effort, these rhinos have been creating their own art works of art. Would you like a painting done by a rhino? I know I would! Make sure you check out the slide show. There you will see these little (well, maybe not so little) artists at work with paint all over their snouts and smiles on their faces.

The World Wildlife Fund
This organization also has a rhino page. The web site is loaded with information about these amazing creatures and the foundation's conservation results. It also contains a photo gallery full of high quality, beautiful rhinoceros photos.

The San Diego Zoo
There is an abundance of rhino information on this page, which includes a video and a sound byte. So, you can watch a film of some rhinos and hear what they sound like!

SOS Rhino
This site is loaded with rhinoceros resources, including a frequently asked questions section and a rhino newsletter.

Fact sheet
If you don't want wade through pages of information, you may want to check out this fact sheet from Kids'Planet. It provides many interesting facts all on one page!
