The Warthog jeep is a troop transport that can cary a driver, a passenger, and a gunner. There are two models actively used in the Halo games, the gauss warthog and the chain gun warthog. The gauss warthog launches high speed explosive projectiles that are awesome against vehicles, and will instantly kill an elite or another spartan in multi player, if you can score the hit. The chain gun warthog is exactly the same in design, except for its gun sprays hundreds of rounds a minuet out of its three rotating barrels. The chain gun hog is better at taking out small groups of enemies.

The Scorpion tank is.....well.... a tank. When you get inside, you take less damage, and have a massive main gun that will blow anything in its detonation radius away. The tank is also equipped with a chain gun that can be fired at the same time as the main gun, and both have infinite ammo, so why fire only one at a time? Watch out for borders though, or you'll end up being meleed to death in your seat!
The ghost is the standard covenant light assault vehicle. Only one person can ride in it, but it is very fast. It has two main plasma cannons, as well as a boost function (pull the left trigger) which speeds the ghost up. Boost is great for getting around fast, or for just running helpless victims into the ground. If your fighting against ghosts while on foot, always aim for the gas tank. The gas tank is a football sized circle that sticks out of the ghost, just below the left wing. Shoot it a few times with a battle rifle, or once with a sniper to rip it open, instantly blowing the ghost to pieces.
The Wraith tank works similarly to the Scorpion, except it has no secondary weapon (it has a boost function instead, just like the ghost) and its shots fire like a mortar, going up and falling down on your enemies, rather than firing in a strait line. Get behind a hill and rain fire down on your opponents, its safe, and fun for the whole family!

The Banshee is the only flying vehicle available to players. Its weapons are the same as the ghost, as is the boost. Besides being able to fly, the banshees extras include the Banshee bomb (only available in campaign) and Ariel tricks. By holding down A and pressing a directional button, the banshee will roll or flip in that direction. This is great for dodging rockets, or for getting a new angle on an enemy.

A+Left :: Roll

A+Right :: Roll

A+Down :: Back flip

Specters are the Covenant form of the Warthog, with a rear gun, a driver, and two passenger seats. The specter gun probably looks the coolest of all the vehicles, throwing rapid streams of plasma everywhere. The specter has a boost function, and if you hold back and A, and then boost, you will pop a wheelie! this is useless, but it looks pretty cool.
