| combining my two hobbies/likes |
| I decided to create a web site that combined my two likes i breed Australian finches,and i grow seeding grasses native/non native.I have had a lot of luck with giving my birds seeding grasses.I had a lot of problems thou trying to get grasses a lot of people said you find them on the side of the road, which not only i found difficult to find its also illegal to do. But being persistant I was able to purchase-accuire them from other breeders/sources. I found through my searching that some of the grasses are not plants as such but more weeds so nursuries didnt stock such plants .Grasses dont need to be grown in the ground,and ive seen many people grow them in pots which is a good idea because you can switch them around...I personally grow some in avairies and some outside of avairies.I grow some outside,So I can keep up the demand for my birds!!! |
