Im a firm believer that with the aid of grasses you can increase the amount of birds you have,and healthy one's,after all in the wild they rely on seeding grasses to breed and with out it they dont breed so well ..........try it!!!!!!!!!

| Grasses are good for seeds as well for nesting,i use all these grasses and tussock grasses for their seeds and for there foliage.I often cut it low to the ground wether it be green or dry and have it available for birds to use.As with all plants if you dont look after them and let them go crazy they will be weeds-meaning that if you let them get out of control they will!!!!!So one way to take care of this is to have them in pots,i have some but have some in the ground .Its not that hard to look after them i use rain water and if they get too much you can make them smaller by cutting the plant in half through the root ball .
