The creation of Brgy. Consuelo was dated July 15, 1967. By 1968, the first barangay election was held to elect the Teniente del Barrio or we called nowadays the CHAIRMAN. Crisanto Pactes was the first chairman and he administered Brgy. Consuelo from 1968-1970.
