Events and Meetings
GRACE Christian Homeschoolers tries to hold monthly C.L.A.S.S. (Christian Learning and Social Skills) events throughout the school year. They are planned by our members. Some of the past C.L.A.S.S. events have included:
- Science fair
- Talent Show
- Game days
- Guest speakers
- Valentine's Day Party
- Resurrection Party
- Reenactment of historical figures
Besides special events like the ones listed above, there are many group activities and classes that are organized by group members. Some of these include:
- Art classes at Mt. Mary College
- Six Flag's 6 hour Reading Program
- Noah's Ark Reading Program
- Physics Quest Science Co-op
- History Co-op
- Student Testing
- Zoo classes
- Group purchase of tickets to plays
GRACE Christian Homeschoolers also provides opportunities for field trips as a wonderful way to socialize and learn - all at the same time. Past field trips have included:
- Tours and classes at local museums
- Carmex Factory tour
- Tour of Janesville Gazette
- Field trip to Milton House and Lincoln-Tallman House
- Field trip and class at Schlitz Audubon Nature Center
- Tour of MMSD and Jones Island water reclamation facility
- Wetlands by Canoe trips
- Stony Hill School and Pioneer Village field trip
- Field trip to Kenosha Civil War Museum
- ABLE Blind braille library tour
- Field trip and class at the Milwaukee Domes
- Field trip to the National Railroad Museum
- Field trip to the Milwaukee Art Museum
- Field trip and classes at Heritage Hills
- Participated in the Wade House Civil School Days
