The Grace Anne Ossing Endowed Fellowship

Against all odds and the predictions of many specialists, four-year-old Grace fought a very rare, highly malignant brain tumor all her life. Three days before Christmas, she lost the battle while at home, lying in her mother's lap, surrounded by her family and friends. In her final month, she would often ask, Mommy, when is this tumor going away? At the end of her struggle, Grace's family decided to try to do something so that other children would not have to fight so hard against this terrible disease.

As a result, a fellowship fund has been created to advance pediatric brain tumor research at the Johns Hopkins Oncology Center. As an endowment, The Grace Anne Ossing Fellowship will become a permanent part of the Johns Hopkins legacy and perpetually provide a stream of income to scientists working in this specific area of cancer research.

The goal is to help children with brain tumors, by advancing the development of treatment protocols for patients with this disease and ultimately to find a cure!

The Ossing family invites you to join them in the fight against cancer, by making a tax-deductible gift to The Grace Anne Ossing Fellowship at Johns Hopkins. Thank you for your thoughtful consideration.
