Trunks is the son of Vegeta and Bulma. He is half Saiyan and half human. Adult Trunks is from the future, and comes back in time to help Goku and company, so the future becomes a better place than it was when he left.When he left Androids 17 and 18 were killing people and destroying Earth. He tries to help by fighting along side them to dispose of various enemies including The Androids in the past. Trunks first turned supersaiyan in the future when Gohan was killed.

GOKU

Goku is a 100% Saiyan that is the second kid of Bardock.Goku was sent to clear to clear it for purchase, but his memory of it was gone when he hit his head. Goku masters the ability to be a supersaiyan, and learns many other abilities during his training to become one of the great martial artists, and uses his powers to help people. He also saved the universe from countless enemies such as Frieza, Cell, Turles, Dr. Wiley, Buu, and more. He fights countless enemies, and some later become his friends because of his kind hearted attitude(Piccolo,Vegeta,etc.). Goku promises to marry a girl named Chichi, and he does,and has two kids named Gohan and Goten. Both also have the ability to turn to a supersaiyan.

VEGETA

Vegeta is a supersaiyan prince from the planet Vegeta. He gets into a relationship with a girl named Bulma, and they have a son named Trunks. Vegeta first started as Goku's enemy, but later becomes his rival for the sole purpose of being the one to kill him. He is constantly obessesed with becoming more powerful than Goku. Later in the series, Vegeta becomes almost good-hearted in a human way because of his relationship with Bulma, and loses most of his evil.

PICCOLO

Piccolo is from the planet Namik. He was one of the most feared of all his kind. He wanted to rule the Earth, but can't because half of him is bad. He is split in half, and the good half Kamie watches over Earth. The Evil Piccolo is angry and tries to rule over the world. Piccolo is killed by Goku, but places a part of himself in an egg. Later, he hatches from the egg and alter becomes good, and he helps Goku and everyone else fight off evil.

KRILLIN

Krillin is another person who tries to help stop evil. Krillin is different from the others because he is the only pure human. He is the strongest of the humans, but isn't as strong as a saiyan. This makes him one of the weaker, but still funny, characters of Dragonball-Z. He does have more power and strength than normal humans, and could even do moves like Solar Flare. He later marries Android 18, and has a kid named Marron.

GOTEN

Goten is the second son of Goku and Chi-Chi.He was conceived shortly before the Cell Game. Goten, just like his brother Gohan, his father Goku, and all Saiyans, also has the ability to turn into a super saiyan( He learned it at age 5 or 6). Goten was the first to reach this stage. He is seen in Dragonball GT, but is also found in Dragonball-Z. He becomes friends with Trunks in the Dargonball GT series and later fuses with him to become Gotenks.
