Chef Al Vargo worked the 'Santa Breakfast'
12/7/02 for the Newton Ransom Elementary
School. The food was supplied by The Gourmet.  This non-fund raiser netted over $900 for the school's PTO.  Thanks to all who came out. The 2003 Breakfast was held on 12/14/03--thanks again to those who braved the snow to attend the event.
Raised over $700 this year--not bad, considering the weather.
Table Scraps
On April 28, 2004, the Gourmet participated in
Great Chefs XIV to benefit the Women's Resource Center
at The Raddison in Scranton--
A friendly competition between area diners and restaurants.
The event was hosted by
WNEP-TV personality
Kim Supon
