| Introduction Mio and Mayu are twin sisters visiting a small childhood hideaway that is due to be flooded by the end of the summer by the creation of a new dam. Mio is thinking about Mayu's accident when they were younger, where she gained a weak right leg after falling from a mountain path trying to keep up with Mio. When Mio turns to her sister she find that she has risen and is now following a crimson butterfly into the forest nearby. Mio chases her and desperately tries to keep up. When Mio finally catches up with Mayu a figure in a white kimono takes her place then disappears. Mio finds herself outside a small village on the edge of the forest. "Mayu..." Mio sees her sister surrounded by crimson butterflies that soon disappear as quickly as they had appeared. "The Lost Village..." Mayu explains the legend that during a festival, the village disappeared and now, those who lost in the woods get trapped by the village. Mio and Mayu look down on the darkness and fog filled village. "All God's Village" |
