| Easy The default difficulty and everyones favourite ^-^, it's the easiest of them all as you probably already know and once you have completed this you can unlock: Mission Mode, Normal mode, an image gallery and you can view the ending scene as much as you want. Normal This can be unlocked once the game has been completed once. As it normally is, this is harder then Easy and you will be able to unlock costumes Type A and B for Mio and Mayu, aswell as a nice pair of red rimmed glasses for Mio. Also Hard mode is unlocked. Hard This can be unlocked once you have completed the game in Normal difficulty. Like before it is harder then the previous difficulty and by completing this you can unlock Nightmare mode, Type C and D costumes for Mio and Mayu, and i am unsure what else at this stage so if you know please email me ^-^ Nightmare This can be unlocked once you have completed Hard mode, this is the hardest difficulty on the Playstation 2 version and you will have to fight Sae aswell as the Kusabi from what i have heard. Completing this will unlock the alternative ending for Project Zero and also Type E costume for Mio and Mayu, as before i am unsure what else but if you know, please email me and let me know ^-^ Fatal This mode is only for people who own the XBox version of Crimson Butterfly.
