Born August 10, 1997, Alicorn "SunWlf" Amarante, Elder Silver Mist, is an 11 year-old female arctic wolf with a playful nature. She has long, soft white fur tipped in silver that glimmers like snow. She has sparkling blue eyes that smile to all and her tail wags puppishly, though her stance shows dominance. She stands 2'9" tall and is 5' long, weighing 90 lbs. Old age has sapped some of her former strength and glory, but she will still defend her pack to the death.
Alicorn started in the pack as an alpha in the first Alpha trio. She stepped down to serve as Beta for a short period of time, and then she was elected to again be Alpha. After the pack fell, she wandered alone for two years before restarting the pack. She held the position of Alpha for the longest time in Silver Mist history, before she demoted herself to Elder, leaving Apolla in her place as Alpha. The other Alpha position opened soon later, and she had to step back up to serve as Alpha once again. Feeling incapable, she finally stepped down to Beta when the other two Alphas were demoted, and Shanandoah & Kalari became the new Alphas. She severed her ties to RebelWolf after a long period of inactivity on his part in January 2006. On January 31, she finally retired to Elder--hopefully for good.

She is the grandmother of SnowWhisper & MoonFire (Katara), CrystalStar, GrizzlyPaws, MoonDreamer, DarkenedStorm, & NightCry (FirE^PawS & Cryos); EmberStar, DiamondFire, Ali_Paws, DarkTail, & MistyMoon (FirE^Paws); Nakaji, Amrik, Shinji, Breeze, Yeja, & Alynia (Anyas + Raika). She is the foster grandmother of BlackenedRain and great-grandmother to CriDoux, Moonlight, Krys, Starlight, & Esprite.
