How it would be in the books and how it is.
Beside the caste system, and the values and lifestyle described in those books the notion of slavery was that slaves were kept as chattel and used at the whim of the Free. It was not consensual, a girl once enslaved was always enslaved and she had no choices at all left, and was just as likely to be chucked to sleen as ravaged appreciatively in her Master’s furs. From what can be gathered from girls who write about their experiences at the hands of *Gorean men* they enjoy an altogether more positive experience than the some of the fictional girls who appear in the books, and I would wager much in that if they were treated like the girls in the books, just once, they would not be seen for dust.
Similarly Gorean men if ever asked to display some of the foolhardy bravery that is asked of the men in the books, of if they had to encounter the same savagery that would be their lot if captured by their enemies, I am sure they would show all the earthly weaknesses that online they so vehemently speak against.
