A Bottle of Apple Juice |
|
|
|
In my dreams I am in an apple juice bottle.
I was squeezed out of a red, crunchy, delicious fruit.
When I am taken out of the fridge, I only see things
upside down as people empty out my contents
into a drinking glass.
I sometimes get emptied into an ice cube tray,
and have Popsicle sticks stuck in me.
I am popped into the freezer and when I am frozen,
hot kids lick me.
I am running low on apple juice.
Oh-no! Somebody's thirsty!
I'm going...going...SLURP!
GONE! |

Answer to March Math Challenge:
There were 1,127 people in front of me in line! How did I get that answer?
When I got in line at 1:00, a train was just pulling out, so the people on that ride had not been ahead of me in line. The next ride would be at 1:02 and between 1:02 and 2:34 when I rode, the cars would be filled 47 times. There are 24 riders on each turn. 47 x 24 = 1,128 -BUT I am the last rider the 47th time the train fills up. So...I am rider #1,128 and that means there were 1,127 people AHEAD of me in line!! |
