Happy November & Happy Thanksgiving
This month was very blustery, but still I had fun! I went to a Harry Potter Club at our local library where we talked about all the Harry Potter books and ate Harry Potter food. I also went to a writing workshop for three weekends where I did some creative writing. This month we had the scout meetings at our house twice so that we could use the tools to make bluebird houses and some other wood projects. I also went with my Cub Scout pack to the Discovery Center to earn our science activity badge. We did a bunch of fun experiments.
A few days before Thanksgiving we went to Moravian College and had a Thanksgiving feast that was all vegetarian.! It was delicious! We also had a great vegetarian feast at home on Thanksgiving Day.
In school I have been studying the Southeast region, especially South Carolina because we are going there soon to visit my aunt. In science I've been studying the heart and blood. I made a cool model of a heart out of clay. In music I learned about how opera and ballet tell a story by listening and watching
The Magic Flute by Mozart and The Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky.
I had a busy month, but it was fun! Check out my other pages and my guestbook. Thanks for visiting!

Gabrielle's Grab Bag
Gabrielle has a new favorite game. She loves to play Monopoly Junior, or as she calls it, "Juniornopoly!" Believe it or not, she usually wins because she always gets the properties that everyone lands on!
Gabrielle really got into The Magic Flute and sometimes is heard singing the songs all over the house. She also is interested in The Nutcracker and tries to do the dances during dance class and all around the house!
Gabrielle went to her first bowling party this month. She thought that bowling was great! She also liked watching the eclipse of the moon. She is looking forward to our trip and to Christmas!
