Spike couldnt sleep, his dark goddess was laying next to him in Angels spare bed and all he wanted to do was to reclaim her, make her his again, but he couldnt get past his insecurities .
(She`ll just hurt me again, rip my heart out and stamp on it)
Dru was still awake aswell, she could smell Spikes arousal and her own was driveing her crazy,
(what if he never wants to touch me again, I`ll just burn up, I need him, was stupid for leaveing him)
She rubbed her legs together and turned over to try and get some much needed sleep.
Morning came and went, it was midday before anyone got up and went to the office, when they did Doyle and Delia were sat at the desk researching some big crazy Doyle had seen in a rescent vision but they hadnt found yet. Without looking up Delia spoke,
"Ho, ho folks, I take it we were tired then..so whats the plan bos...."
When she looked up she trailed off, there in the doorway of Angels office stood Drucilla, she hadnt seen her since the night she`d killed Kendra two years ago. fear entered her eyes and she instinctively went for the stake she kept in her desk draw,
"Hello luvvy, and you must be Delia"
D was taken aback, she sounded, no couldnt be, sane?!
"Umm, hi, I take it Willow and Angel and Spike know your here then?"
"Yep, that they do, so you can put that stake back now"
Dru smirked at the may queen and Delia sheepishly raised her hands in surrender.
"So, what are you doing here?"
"Willow, she mated with Angel, I got some of her soul, and sanity to boot, cool huh? I actually make sense"
"Yeah cool, by the way, you arent gonna kill me or Doyle are you?"
"Blunt and to the point as always Delia"
Came Willows voice from the stairway,
"Yep, that`d be me, tact central"
"Awww, Delia, your really tactful, well more than Anya anyway"
"Oh thanks, thats a real compliment deadboy"
"Oi, watch yourself cheerleader, he`s not the only dead one here remember!"
Delia lept out of her seat and hugged Spike, he was surprised but hugged back
"Spike, s`cool to see you, how`v you been"
"Oh you know, fangless, scarey as a floppy bunnie, part from that fine"
Delia laughed and grinned at Spike,
"Oh wait I forgot, ARGH HELP BIG BAD VAMP ON THE PREMISES"
"Yeah cheers D, makes me feel real good"
"Thought you`d appreciate it"
"So whats the plan people, I mean, any big bads that are actually bad, or are we playing nice with fuzzy vamps all day?"
"Watch yourself half bred (Spike joked) I can still hit you remember, demons are still punchable"
"Oh yeah, forgot, sorry, so what is the plan?"
"Well we still got a load of research to do on that varnac demon you saw in your vision, so I spose that, plus the fangless wonders cant leave til sunset anyhow"
"Careful sweetheart, You may be cute but not above a spanking you know"
"Oh Angel, promises promises"
Angel swatted Willows behind as she ran away and hid behind Delia. They settled down to research, Dru included, and slipped into comfortable silence, she couldnt believe she was sat in a room with three vamps, a half demon, a seer and she herself was immortal, the last week had just been way too much, she felt like laughing hysterically, but that would make her look crazy, still it was a good too much, Angel and Dru and Spike had spoken together, they had sorted alot out before comeing upstairs for work, Dru really was changed, she wanted to learn and help, Spike was just Spike, but still he had sorted it with his sire, and Angel, willow could tell through the bond that he was exstatic about haveing his family together again, and she was happy, her three best friends, her lover, and her newly aquired step daughter all working together, she finally had a family that loved her and cared about each other, something she`d never really had before.
