Welcome to the Iran Travel website. This site is dedicated information about places to visit when travelling to Iran. I will be adding more information about other places to visit, but at this time I have posted information about two historical cities in Iran, Shiraz and Isfahan.
The historical city of Shiraz is located in the province of Fars and is home to the burial place of a number of famous poets such as Hafez and Saadi. The city of Isfahan located in the province of Isfahan is historically important because it was the Royal capital of the Safavid dynasty. Isfahan is historically significant because of its spectacular monuments such as Siyose Pol and the infamous bazar built under the Safavaid dynasty. These are all very popular tourist attractions.
