SHIRAZ : NAQSH-E-ROSTAM
The beauty of the mountains, the immense landscape, the deep silence which pervades the site remote from any village, are appropriate for the final resting place for leaders who shaped Iran. The toms which rest here are those of Xerzes, Darius the Great, Artaxerxes I and Darius II. This site is situated close to the Persepolis and one may be able to visit both sites in one day.
