Me
My background is multi-disciplinary. I have MA in Journalism, Media and Cultural Studies. I also posses a Diploma in Adult Education. Currently,I am a postgraduate researcher at University of Wales, cardiff. My current research is about children's welfare policies in sub-Saharan Africa. I am a journalist by profession. I have specialisation in radio features. I have a track record of being a two times winner of the prestigeous media award for best radio feature in Ghana. Areas covered include "The Environment, Reproductive Health, Children and Women I was the originator and producer of POPLINE - a one hour programme on population and development broadcast on the national commercial radio station of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation. I have a vision and that is to create development awareness about children and women and to work out how better government policies can be developed to create a sustainable environment for this segment of the population including their well-being. I was recently in South Africa and Uganda where I interacted with policy makers, NGOs, CBOs and children in deprived communities. Children in these communities really deserves an olive branch, they deserve a break from that horrible condition. This is my challenge. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
