Gojukido could be effectively shared throughout the world with the use of
a video tape presentation. the choice of the sound accompaniment was
critical.
The music had to mesh with the carefully coordinated postures in a way that harmonized with nature and would lead to the calming balance of mind-spirit-body. Kitaro enthusiastically embraced this task, and the experience of Gojukido is enhanced a thousand-fold by his soothing, insightful composition. Kitaro is a composer revered worldwide for his progressive and passionate music. Credited with two dozen albums, he has provided the perfect acoustical complement to the rich visual images that flow from this exhibition. His music has received critical acclaim throughout the world, resulting m a Golden Globe Award and a Grammy nomination. "Hei Wa" with Larry Kishiyama and Kitaro, won the 1998 Telly Award.
