A special word of gratitude and appreciation is due to Mrs. Jayakody (Snr.) (Mother), Mr. Mahendra Jayakody (Brother) and his wife for their kindness in permitting the use of the premises for housing the Honbu dojo and the support and the encouragement extended in numerous ways for the progress of the association since the demise of Shihan Jayakody in May 2003.
It is also significant that Subicho as well as all san-dans and some ni-dans were graded by Grandmaster Goshi Yamaguchi.The other ni-dans received their grading from Hanshi Takashi Konomoto

Ni-dan (2002). 1997 Junion National Champion-Kata. 2000-2001-2002 Junior National Champion -Kata and Kumite. 2002 Represented Sri Lanka in the 6th Asian Karate Federation Championship in Tokyo, Japan.. 2003 All India Open Champion Kata & Kumite.. 2004 and Runner up National Championship Kata & Kumite. Member of the National Pool for SAF Games.
