Milla
Minilla is the son of Godzilla.  Minilla has been portrayed in several different looks and ways, but is usually shown as a slightly clumsy little toddler that follows his father around for protection.  He is similar to Godzilla in that he has radioactive breath, however it's underdeveloped and usually comes out in fire rings or even little bubbles.  Minilla is fun at times, but you'll either find him wretchedly cute or hidiously ugly.

His debut was in 1967's
Son of Godzilla.  Three mutated Kamacuras uncover an egg on Solgell Island, and begin tossing it around.  The egg eventually hatches into Minilla, a baby Godzilla.  The Kamacuras refuse to stop beating on the little baby until Godzilla shows up to save the day, killing two and chasing the last one off.  Godzilla and Minilla wonder around the island for a while, occasionally getting into trouble or playing.  Eventually Minilla wondered off from Godzilla's sight and found himself facing the final remaining Kamacuras again.  However, Kumacuras wasn't the only threat looming in the jungle, and the fierce spider Kumonga attacks both and takes them captive in his web.  Kumonga kills the final Kamacuras, and heads in to give Minilla his venomous bite as well, when Godzilla bursts out of the jungle to protect his offspring.  Kumonga surprisingly overpowers the lizard at first, but Minilla overcomes his fear of the creature to protect his father.  The combined might of Godzilla and his newfound heir turns Kumonga into a pile of ashes, as their combined radiation breath sets it on fire.  Meanwhile, in an attempt to subdue the creatures, a group of humans us a method of controlling the weather to cause it to snow on the island.  Godzilla and Minilla huddle up in the freezing weather, as they prepare to hibernate until warmth comes again.

Minilla had a small role in 1968's
Destroy All Monsters, as one of the many monsters who live in peace on Monster Island in the year 1999.  When the alien race known as the Kilaaks.  Minilla precedes Godzilla himself as he and the other monsters of Monster Island prepare for final battle agains the alien invaders.  The Kilaaks send King Ghidorah to protect them from the combined might of Godzilla, Rodan, Mothra, Anguirus, Gorosaurus, Kumonga, Baragon, and Varan.  King Ghidorah is massivly outnumbered and is soon down, but while watching the fight progress, Minilla mildly gets involved and dilivers a fire ring to Ghidorah's middle head, which proves to be the killing blow.  Proud of what he has done, Minilla walks over to Ghidorah's lifeless body and puts his foot atop it's back, making a conquering pose.  The other monsters destroy the Earth base of the Kilaaks ending their reign of terror.  Minilla returns to Monster Island with Godzilla, and as they continue to live out the rest of their lives.

Minilla's next appearance was rather unconventional.  Outside of normal Godzilla continuity was the 1969 film
Godzilla's Revenge, which told the story of a little Japanese boy named Ichiro who loved Godzilla movies as he face growing up hardships.  In Ichiro's dreams he was friends with Minilla on Monster Island (who could grow and shrink from human size to monster size, and talks like a doofus).  The two of them enjoy watching stock footage of Godzilla fighting Ebirah, Kamacuras, Kumonga, a Giant Condor, and fighter jets.  However, there is a bully lurking amung the beasts of Monster Island, the menacing Gabara!  Gabara picks on poor little Minilla whenever he gets the chance, but ultimatly Minilla gets his revenge, with a little help from Ichiro.  The two of them trick Gabara into falling into a trap which sends the beast flying into the air and landing on it's back.  Proud of his boy for conquering the kaiju on his own, Godzilla tries to congratulate his son, only to have Gabara challenge the King himself.  Minilla doesn't let his father face the creature alone, and having conquered his fears, he helps Godzilla defeat Gabara.

Minilla's final appearance in the Showa timeline was in the form of stock footage taken from
Son of Godzilla.  During a brief account of the beasts of Monster Island in 1972's Godzilla vs. Gigan, Minilla is shown blowing a fire ring.
