I was sore the first two days of practice, but then things started to fall into place again.

Had a semi-hard day. I was working, but not dying from it. I was disappointed at the lack of French I saw, but buoyed by the prevalent Arabic

Around Town
We did 400 time trials (79 seconds) before going out for some easy miles.
Tuesday
I don't really know

We did 800 time trials. I got a 3:07. Then we did a latter. 600-400-300-200-100. I'm just too lazy to figure out how many miles that is.
Wednesday
An easy 2-3 total

We just did some pace work, teaching the new girls how to run and pass both the baton and other runners.

Saganw Valley indoor meet
For the 2 mile I ran a 14:30. The 800 a 3:00. Plus all of the warm up and cool downs. I was waiting at the check in for about an hour before I could run my 800. Not good for the muscles.

We played follow the leader before playing capture the flag. I captured the flag a few times unsuccessfully

Cleaned my room and ate M&M's. Thinking- when will the latic acid trip I'm on go away.

The distance distance runners were the only girls out of the school building on this "chilly" afternoon.

We did a 100-200-300-400-300-200-100 latter with Mr. Hyde. I pulled a thigh muscle a little.

It was baton passing 101 today. Sara and I led the team in the absence of Captain Solley(Home Sick). My thigh still hurt a fair amount.

I ran the 800 unofficially in 2:59. But the best part of the meet was when Sara and I jogged the 1.5 race. We had so much fun while helping Dana out and making Kendra mad. We weren't competitive because her shin splits and my pulled muscle and seeming "air pocket".

The "Medland Loop" as it is affectionately named
We ran the loop while singing off key while trying to breathe. Then we ran to frosty boy for ice cream.

I spun a cocoon in my room, emerging as a social butterfly in time to pick up Jamie and Kendra for the play.
