The time has come to seek new avenues
Leave the old roads far behind
Open doors to new experiences
Never knowing what I will find
On the road there will be problems
Hills that I must overcome
There must always be a challenge
Cause over the hills lies the sun
The light which holds my future
For at the end of the journey
Is my destiny that I have won
With My Savior as my guide
Leading me on my way
I will never be on my own
No matter what I might say
His decisions might make me mad
But I know that He Means well
For I may sometimes ignore His suggestions
but in the long run I know that he can tell
That my journey will be a long one
Charting paths I am not the best
But with the Lord at my side
All I have to do is do the rest
I must always look ahead
And never look behind
For the path that I have traveled
I�ll never know what I will find
There may be stops along the way
Where I�ll feel comfortable and secure
But my stay is only temporary for there are many more open doors
My Goal is to reach your Son
If not it will only be my loss
For my destiny lies over the hill
Cause at the end of the road is the sun
The light which I cannot see
But my travels have just begun
And in time I�ll know what I can be
My Journey is never ending
