My Prayer to God
Verse of the day
Prayer of Salvation
Let those who are wise listed to these proverbs and become even wiser. And let those who understand receive guidance.......
While traveling home from a business trip, the Lord spoke to me and the paragraph below is what he placed in my mind. I have been praying about a way to discuss accepting the Lord into someones life and salvation and Eternal Life and did not know how to and God provided me with this comparison and I am sharing it with you.
Just as Global Positioning Sattelites assist us in our vehicular traveling, God's Powered Salvation assists us in our spiritual journey toward eternal life. Without the Lord Jesus Christ in our life and having him as our guide we will be lost an on a journey to nowhere. This is described in Isaah 35:8 "And a main road will go through that once deserted land. It will be only for those who walk in God's ways; fools will never walk there." Accepting the Lord as your savior and acknowledging that his Son died on the cross to save us from our sins is the frist step to tapping into this G.P.S. Proverbs 20:24 says it well "How can we understand the road we travel? It is the Lord who directs our steps." When we let God be our navigator he will not lead us astray and keep us on the path that we need to be on. Our journey under the guidance of our Father will be one with some rough roads, and many turns and terrains to traverse, but He will never lead us down the wrong path. Pcalms 5:8 states to just ask and he will show you the way "How can we understand the road we travel? It is the Lord who directs our steps." In addition to this passage, He will also provide us guidance as stated in Proverbs 1:5 "Let those who are wise listen to these proverbs and become even wiser. And let those who understand receive guidance."
