Andrew Goudy, son of William and Isabella FLEMING Goudy, was born near Monroe, Butler County,
Ohio, Oct. 4. 1799. In 1813 he with his parents moved from Butler and located in Clark County where,
three and one-half miles from Springfield, he purchased a farm. Andrew Goudy farmed and raised
stock successfully until 1857 when he purchased a residence on Clifton Street, Springfield, Ohio, he lived
there until his death April 2, 1877, aged 78 years, 5 months and 29 days. He was tall and slender of stature;
had blue eyes and snow-white hair and beard. He was a member of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian
