I am currently a Phd Student at the Stanford Eploration Project, Geophysics Department, Stanford University.
I hold a First Class honors degree in Applied Geophysics and an M. Sc with Distinction in Exploration Geophysics. I am training to be the most accomplished geoscientist of my time!!!
I have great interest and some skill in exploration geophysics especially in seismics (inversion, attribute analysis, reservoir characterisation, etc.), geophysical inversion and geophysical programming in Fortran 77, Fortran 90 and C++.
I am a recipient of five awards from Obafemi Awolowo University, an ExxonMobil/NMGS/NNPC Award for my BSc thesis, a Shell Centenary Scholarship and a GETECH prize at Leeds and an Earth Sciences Fellowship from Stanford.
I have a penchant for space exploration and hope to be the first Nigerian in Space. I almost gave up this dream when I heard a Nigerian pupil made the trip...found out that was only a simulation.
