This includes providing flight test programs with real-time piloted simulations and non-piloted non-real time simulations, and operator-in-the-loop integration laboratories to evaluate hardware and software interactions with the entire test vehicle avionics suite. The Division also supports installed systems testing for programs requiring a large, shielded chamber with radio frequency absorption capability that simulates free space to operate and evaluate installed avionics systems, operates and maintains the ground test capabilities which have been developed to support flight test and are used to validate electronic combat system effectiveness and provides avionics integrated support and software verification prior to flight test. The Division consists of the following:
The Avionics Test & Integration Complex (ATIC) is comprised of three collocated core test facilities that can operate independently or together to satisfy specific customer requirements. This affords opportunities for all three ATIC facilities to share instrumentation and personnel providing a powerful Test & Evaluation synergism that is unequaled in the nation.
