"Kele" was our foundation bitch - our first Ridgeback and first show dog. She was owner handled to championship finishing with three major wins including a Best of Breed over champions. She was a super moving bitch with very good conformation overall, fairly large. Extremely friendly and outgoing. Looking for a stud dog which would give us some compromise in size, we bred her first to Ch. Kujur Konoko B, CDX, TD in Rockford, IL. This litter produced five amateur owner-handled champions, one of which also earned a CD in his first three trials: Ch. Globe's Askari Sala, Ch. Globe Kele Muziki Tarabu, Ch. Globe's Hodari Anza, Ch. Globe's Kusini Shamba, CD, Ch. Shikala Globe's Koala Bear. Kele received the award "Register of Merit" from her first litter. From her second litter of 4 came Ch. Globe's KeSa Paka Lia for a total of six champions from Kele. Kele was tied for #3 Brood Bitch for 1976 (RRCUS). |

"Sala" was breeder-owner-handled to championship with three major wins. Sala was dark red wheaten with a touch of white on chest. He had exceptionally good movement. Multi-Best of Breed winner in limited showing. |

Ch. Globe's KeSa Paka Lia (OFA Good #RR-1026)
Ch. Globe's Askari Sala x Ch. Bellwether Takele Anza, ROM
"Lia" was breeder-owner handled to her championship. Lia was dark wheaten with some white on chest and a little on toes. Like her sire and dam, she had superior movement with good reach in front and strong drive in rear. Her personality was outgoing and friendly with a good show attitude. She was quite athletic with good muscle tone. |

Lia gave us two litters with no ridgeless or dermoid sinuses. Lia's first litter by Ch. Rawhide's The Kalahari Kid, CD consisted of one puppy - an outstanding bitch: Ch. Globe Lia's Kid Abilene (Abby), who was a multi-group placer and #1 breeder-owner handled bitch in 1985. Lia's second litter by Ch. Turoka Globe's Casino Renose, produced a litter of four from which we got another excellent bitch, Ch. Globe's CaLia Toi Soldier (Toi), who was also a group placer. |
