British/North American Vocabulary
Here are some of the main differences in vocabulary between British and North American English.

American spelling is usually more simpler.

For example, British English words ending in -our and -re, end in -or and -er in American English (colour/color,centre,center)

Another example is 'through' in the UK.This becomes 'thru' in the US.
