WEAPONS

Dalanar is both weaponsmith and weaponsmaster. His skills with the weapons he employs knows almost no equal. In his hands, weapons of any type of make become deadly. Even objects most think of for other uses becomes means of protection and attack. Though his skills are great, he does have his personal preferrances and a few weapons he tends to rely on and call his own.

This basic weapon is always on Dalanar's person at all times. This elogant blade is a testiment to his mastery at smithing. Its balance superb, it serves as both a back up weapon as well as a good tool for survival in the wilderness. The blade is approximately eight inchs long.

Dalanar carries two crossbows with him almost everywhere he goes. These hang from straps on either shoulder. They are light weight and he has spent years of his life to master his aim with them. He is a deadly shot and, though they are slow to reload, sometimes that first shot can tip the tables in battle.

Dalanar carries seven throwing daggers with him. He wears a leather weapons harness around his trunk, holding four of the daggers on his right side and three on the left. These daggers are a simple design, the care of their make coming from the exceptional balance. He has spent many hours, over many days of his life practicing with these as well. His accuracy is alarming, though they lack the range of the crossbow.

Dalanar's primary sword, Ebonsbane, was a gift from his closest friend since arriving in Domini. Baracard gifted the powerful magic sword to him for reasons of his own. Ebonsbane has powers to open rifts, giving the wielder powers over dimensional travel. This weapon is quite unique, forged from a metal not even the master weaponsmith can place. Its blade can break most other swords and armor in combat. It has saved Dalanar's life more then once and remains his favorite weapon, a found memory of a lost friend.

A weapon Dalanar has yet to test in true combat, the Gunblade is a creation of his, from his curiousity with the powerful, but non artful weapons known as gun. Studying these vulgar weapons, Dalnar came up with the idea for something new. He forged the Gunblade and has high hopes for its ability in combat.

The newest addition to Dalanar's arsenal is the Vorpal sword. Claimed from a powerful demon called a Balrog, that the party defeated. Dalanar has only just began to use this sword in combat, so he is not yet aware of its full potentials.
