CURRENCY OF DOMINI 3037:
Above is an example of the Imperial Monetary Card (IMC). This one belongs to the Emperor Evein Domini. Each card features a picture of the account holder. This card was based on the debit accounts of the 21 century. The main form of currency in Domini 3037 is the Imperial Credit. Think of a credit as you would a dollar, with no smaller change. These credits are readily accepted through out the Empire in exchange for goods and services. Even a Pizza delivery guy will have a small device that can scan your IMC. Have a character from a different system with different money? No worries. Arimus city is a major trading center for both within the empire but off world as well. They feature several banks. Exchange rates sometimes vary, but for the most part, the Imperial Credit holds pretty solid.
Fire arms: Includes low tech pistols, rifles and shotguns. These items can vary in cost between 25 to 200 credits.
Small Arms: Includes granade launchers, machine guns, and small shoulder mounted rockets. Cost generally ranges between 100 to 600 credits.
Personal transportation. Could be a tricked out Dune Buggy, could be a rocket powered car, or perhaps a heavily armored pick up truck. The price range varies greatly from 200 to 2000.
Hoovercrafts are the most prevailant form of transportation available. They are small crafts, usually seating no more then four, including the driver. The down side is that they hoover about a foot off the ground. They have a more limited manueverablity then the other forms of transportation. A standard, no frills hoovercraft, will set you back 1,000 credits. Start adding on additions like climate control, leather seats, internal 3D entertainment systems, weapontry, or extra shielding, and the price goes right up with it. The range varies, but generally caps out around 7,000 credits.
Transport Shuttles are the next line up in transportation. They very in size, from two seaters to eight, and in armorments, speed and fuel effeciancy. A base model with two bucket seats will seat you back 3,000 credits and you better know how to handle it, because its not the best thing on two wings. For the best on the market, your talking in the neighborhood of 20,000 credits, with everything inbetween.
Subspace shuttles are nifty little crafts that can convey you from the surface to orbit. You can access Second Moon or even one of the ships docked there. The price of a sub space shuttle runs between 10,000 to 50,000 credits.
Space ships are the ultimate in personal transportation. Cruising the galaxy from star to star. Discused here are personal space ships, not the large battle ships or friggates of the empire or other alien races. The personal models can be maned fully by one or two people. This much freedom does carry a hefty price tag though. Your looking at 70,000 to 200,000 credits.
The section all of us have been waiting for, I'm sure. The price list for those nasty little toys of warfare. Everything from laser pistols to particle cannons to leyser swords can be had, if you have the credits!
Laser pistols. Laser pistols vary in price due to difference in make and model. Some offer fewer charges. Cheap models must be directly connected to a power supply to regain charge, whereas the better models have removable energy clips for easier combat (See also: Technology page). Some of the best models even carry the feature of automatic fire. Prices of laser pistols can range from 100 to 1,000 credits. Blaster rifles all offer a much better range then the laser pistols, but with equivalant fire power. A basic blaster rifle will run you 400 credits, but it will probably also jam when you need it most. The top of the line rifle will set you back 2,000 credits. Particle cannons are the high tech answer to small arms. They can be mounted on a vehicle, structure or tripod. Only a Dwarf could hope to pick one up and pack it around with him. Even the smallest, most basic particle cannon costs no less then 10,000 credits. Their price can go up to figures nearing astronomical. Such as the large cannon arrays of the Vortex class Distroyer. Leyser swords are weapons of finese and power. Some still prefer the leyser sword to the pistols and rifles. Sardukar elves even have the reflexes to deflect some of the shots fired at them with the skillful use of their energy blades. Leyser swords can cost between 100 and 500 credits.
Low Tech transports are heavily armored taxis that run transportation between the waste lands and some of the boarder cities. All are heavily armored and heavily armed. Can't collect your fare if your passengers are killed enroute. The price of a ride from one of the waste land villages to a boarder city will set you back 10 credits.
Hoovercraft taxis can ferry you to any point within the empire. These rides are comfortable and well protected. The price is right at 15 credits.
Food delivery. All variations of food and drinks are available for delivery. The prices don't vary much however. Generally, a good cooked meal and drink for one will run you 5 credits.
Hotel rooms can be found in all cities for the weary traveler. These rooms can be simple crash spaces with a small cot and a tolit to the ultra extravagent. Prices do range, from 10 credits to 100.
Subspace shuttle transport. Need goods transported to Second Moon or yourself for that matter? Rides are for sale at the price of 50 credits per person, or goods up to 200 kilograms for the same price.
Deep space travel. Yes, even you can see the stars. Take that dream vacation to Ixulrrin IV. Breath in Nitrogen Bromide unitll your lungs crystalize and explode! All Sci Fi jokes aside, travel through space on one of the larger ships can be arranged. You had better save up however. The price is 5,000 credits.
