It didn't take long for the friendly Omanis to find us out on the beaches.  This was a village headman who drove out in what has to be the world's oldest Toyota pickup.
Enjoying the sandy beaches, headlands, shells, birds and sealife on the souteast coast of Oman.  This is the Sea of Arabia.
The perfect camp at sunrise.  Our campsite near Ash Shuayr village.
Some Omani ladies come out to our camp to show us their beautiful handwoven baskets.  Of course we bought some!
A silversmith makes new fittings for some old silver jewelry.  He also fixes old kanjars and knives.
Judy and a couple of Omani gentlemen in the market at Sinaw. Notice the older man's beautiful Omani kanjar.
Village boys were our tour guides to see the ruins of this old fort in central Oman.
