Can anyone help find out what happened to George Gordon, who was born in Scotland at North Binn Farm, Easter Fowlis, on the 14th of November 1848. He was son of John Gordon and Ann Selbie (Selby).

Nothing is known of what happened to him, other than 'George Gordon emigrated to the States'

A few possible census returns appear as follows - but can anyone add to the story of George?

Possibility ONE:
1880 Census - St Joseph, Algoma, Ontario

  NA Film Number   C-13282
  District   182
  Sub-district   GG

This writer thinks Possibility Two is more likely, for George had a brother Donald Gordon who emigrated to West Virginia.

Can anyone help?
