Can anyone help this writer trace the family of Donald Gordon, born in North Binn, Easter Fowlis (outside Dundee), Scotland on the 3rd of November 1850.

This Donald Gordon was the sixth child born to John Gordon and Ann Selbie. His father John Gordon (1816-1899) hailed from Girnoc, Crathie in Upper Deeside Aberdeenshire. His grandfather
Peter Gordon was born in 1793 on a farm called Camlet within the Girnoc Glen.

Donald Gordon became a Shepherd like his father and grandfather. At the time of his marriage to Susan Dunbar he was Shepherd at Altyre, Rafford, Scotland. He worked alongside his brother Peter.

On the 21st of May 1875 when Donald was 24, he married Susan R. DUNBAR, at 172 High Street, Forres.

Shortly afterwards Donald Gordon and his wife Susan must have set sail for America. Their first child John was born there in 1876.

So in 1880 Donald, his wife Susan and three young children were at Lost River in West Virginia. Next they appear as follows, in Virginia State: A friendly researcher reported back as follows:

"...I did find Donald and Susan in the 1920 Culpeper County, Virginia Census, along with a daughter, Linda M., age 21.  Donald was listed as age 69, Susan, 68, and his occupation was a ticket agent..."

This was as far as this writer got. Any living family out there? Drop me a line.
His brother George Gordon (b1848) was also said to have emigrated to the States
