Elspet GORDON (1785-1866) was the first daughter of 'Camlet John' and was born c1785 at Camlet. Elspet died in Heugh Head of Colston, Tarland on 19th  March 1866, she was 81. She was buried, beside her husband Donald in Crathie Churchyard.

Sometime c1804 when Elspet Gordon was 19, she married Donald GORDON, son of James GORDON & Janet SMITH/GOW, in Crathie & Braemar. Donald Gordon was born on the 8th October 1770 in Tournournan and died at Bovaglie on the 13th March 1854, he was 83.

Donald Gordon was the older brother of 'Nicolas' who married Joseph Gordon. As rehearsed earlier, a further sibling Margaret (b1768) married as his second-wife 'Camlet John.'
