A lonely freedom cannot satisfy
A heart that has grown one with every heart
I am a deputy of an aspiring world
My Spirit’s liberty I ask for all

~ Sri Aurobindo,  Savitri.

The dualistic position, however, is only the starting point and not the answer to our psychological and ethical problem. Are we to understand this dualism to mean that both the drive to love and drive to destroy are innate and equally strong capacities in man? In this case humanistic ethics would be confronted with the problem of how destructive side in man's nature can be curbed without sanctions and authoritarian commands.

~Eric Fromm, Man for Himself.

One liberates oneself by collaborating with a liberative process and that is perhaps how we collaborate in the march of this world of ours.

~Chitta Ranjan Das, "Integral Education: the Vision and an Experiment."
