Hannah Parks, Class of 2005
Hannah Parks joined the cross country team with only a few meets left in the 2001 season, after urging from her friends. A couple of weeks later, she was headed to the state meet as an individual qualifier. Hannah won state 3A titles in the 1600m three consecutive years- 2003, 2004 & 2005. She also won the state 800m in 2003, and was on the third place 4x400 team that same year. In her years at Glenn, Hannah ran the 400, 800, 1600, 3200, 4x400, 4x800, LJ, & HJ. She also plays a mean game of Ultimate Frisbee. Hannah is now attending school & running for Appalachian State University.

Her PRs include: 18:58 track 5K, 19:19 at Hagan-Stone, 1600m- 5:13.34, 3200m- 11:41, 800m- 2:21.1

Justin Turner, Class of 1997
Justin Turner was Glenn's only state champion in Cross Country. He won the state title in 1995- his junior year. He finished 6th in the state his senior year. His 5K PR was 16:30 at McAlpine, but he won the title in a relatively slow 16:42. Justin's other PRs were 4:43 in the 1600 & 10:11 in the 3200, also run in his junior year.

John Skotcher, Class of 1994

John Skotcher finished 5th in the 1993 state XC meet and holds the school record of 15:58 (at McAlpine). He also holds the school record for 1600, in 4:28.66. He ran 1:58 for the 800 & 10:32 in the 3200.
