PILOT'S JOURNALS ===================== Memories of WWII Pilots and Crews |
This page is dedicated strictly to the pilots and their crews who took to the skies against any and all odds to do their part to preserve liberty for the world. Please share your memories with us and in so doing, your words will build a lasting memorial that no stone can match. Winston Churchill put it best when he said of the pilots in the Battle of Britain: "Never in the field of human conflict has so much been owed by so many to so few." Although Churchill was referring specifically to the pilots in the Battle of Britain, I believe the words pertain to all pilots and their crews in all theaters of the war. May you all receive the rewards you so richly earned! THANK YOU!! |
