The LAST TRIP

Traveling west on route 2 we turned south on route 116. when we arrived in Guanica we ventured ahead on route 333, past the lighthouse ruins, and the Cana Gorda Beach. We stopped at the Copamaina Beach Resort. After a tour of the facility we traveled farter up the road in search of "Gilligan's Island", but as with Jungle Janes it was closed. This must not be the high tourist time for southern Puerto Rico. Returning to Ponce we dropped down route 12 to the Boardwalk and public beach.

An abandon refinery. It appears that it may be to expensive to recycle. There are many refineries and power plants just slowly being reclaimed by the jungle.

Bohia Guanica.\, we would probably call it Guanica Bay.

Cactus on a tropical island.

Ruins of a lighthouse

This line of cars extended for about 1.5 miles. There was a fender bender just below the picture.

A trip with Jimmy took this route.
