The LAST TRIP
Victor lives in Santa Isabell. He took Harry
and I to dinner in nearby Adjuntas. Victor's wife and 2 of his children went as far as her cousins home.
The yellow cake is made from plantains. It is smashed into this
shape and fried
We were going to go to
Adjuntas and then turn west on the "Panoramic Route". However the roads are not well marked
. We found our road about 1 hour before dark. The subsequent trip was shortened
but nice.
Sunday March 10 2002. We decided to
go to Adjuntas and travel the Panoramic Route to Mayaguez. We missed a few turns, and asked for directions. "Just go that way, all these roads lead to PR 123.
We wanted to follow PR123 then turn off on PR518. Little did we know that we were parked on PR518 (going the wrong direction)while taking this picture.
So on down PR123 until we found the next road. where we turned back to look for 518.
Not a single road sign. We traveled up this road 45 minutes before we learned it was indeed 518.
