The Kitchen Absolutely modern for that time, there were, besides hot and cold water, a grill and automatic turning spits for game and poultry. The smoke of the big stove in the middle was led underfloor. The escaping heat from the stove to the chimney also warmed the dishes in the plate-warmer. The kitchen was in full-working order for only two years. |
