Atremis'comment: Calling Dr. T, Calling Dr. T OH I forgot! Dr. T is in the morgue visiting his flop of a movie with an all-star cast. Farrah Fawcett, Helen Hunt, Liv Tyler, Richard Gere, the list goes on and on...Someone's agent needed to get fired.... Or was this just bad-Career-move day... Anyways... when I hear Richard Gere or Helen Hunt I think What Women Want, First Knight, Runaway Bride, or As Good As It Gets... All of which I consider to be wonderful films... Unfortunatly Dr. T did not satisfy me... It left me questioning the placement of Richard Gere in sexiest actors of all time list... ;-) Richard Gere makes a good Reporter and a wonderful Knight of the round table but he makes a REALLY BAD gynecologist... And Helen hunt... Helen Hunt makes a good waitress, a good Art Director but a really bad Golf Pro/Slut... before i go on I will say that this is not solely about the actors... its about the storyline... there is NO PLOT WHATSOEVER and whoever wrote the character of Dr.T made him an insensitive asshole who needs to be bitch slapped... anyway I think I should stop here so i can go hunt down the screen play writers and Richard Gere's Agent so I can take them out back and beat the shit out of them...
Artemis' Review: Ok I have seen VERY bad movies in my time... but this one has to take the cake... if you have read my review of "the story of us" you'll understand this reference.. if not go read it and get back to me... go on, I'll wait... Back so soon? ok... Here goes... The story of us ATLEAST HELD MY ATTENTION for the whole 2 hours... it made you depressed but it also left you with the hope that it would turn out alright in the end... Hanging up... With Meg Ryan, Diane Keaton, Lisa Kudrow, and Walter Matthau... Was SO Depressing and so... Depressing, and so... Depressing... there is no other way to put it... I turned it off after about 20 minutes... As a movie critic I usually stay for the whole movie no matter HOW excruciating it may be... However, in the case of this Bomb I couldn't hack it... I would have been slitting my wrists by the end of the movie if I hadn't tunred it off... wanna punish me? Tie me in a chair and force me to watch "hanging up" over and over

This movie just plain sucked. I was told to not watch it alone in the dark�so I did�and it just sucked okay. The movie doesn�t have an element of horror in it at all�so the guy has a couple of bad dreams, sees a few ghosts (could be the booze), goes a little bonkers�oh well that�s life. It�s craziness. The movie just sucked. The weak at heart, the cowards, and the people who can�t watch action movies without covering their eyes� like Artemis� would find it scary� me personally, I thought it was funny and I wouldn�t waste my money on buying it� I�d wait till it was on TV and then if there was absolutely nothing better to watch� then, maybe, possibly I�d consider watching it� but other than that� I wouldn�t waste my time� not worth it, not at all.

TALK ABOUT DEPRESSING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This movie bills itself as a romantic comedy but it it neither a romance nor a comedy... its a "documentary" about how pessemists see the institution of marriage... now... I personally can't wait to get maried, however, i am incredibly ... unsure... because so many of the people that i know and love have been through at least one (maybe more) divorces... this movie just affirms the fact "nobody" stays married and "everybody" gets a divorce... I sat there for 2 hours waiting for them to pull some sweet, funny, uplifting, fairytale ending out of their asses to make the whole experience worthwhile... but to no avail... they tried to manipulate their way out of the depressing abyss in the last 5 minutes of the movie but by that point they had dug themselves a hole so deep there was no escape.. at least for the story of this movie... I won't even attach the actors names because they should be hanging their heads in shame that they are connected to this movie...
