Co-ordinating Conjunction
Using co-ordinating Conjunctions
Conjunctions are a means of joining clauses together to make a longer sentence. Co-ordinating conjunctions join two main clauses. They are easy to use.
und (and) aber (but) denn (because) oder (or) sondern (but, on the contrary)
These are the invisible conjunctions: they count as ‘zero’ and do not affect the word order, so that the verb in each clause is in second position.
