The other thing that I semi got accomplished is switching from winter to summer. I know going in that it is fairly early here to completely change the place over but I needed to get out more of my summer clothes. So I decided to start as if my goal was to completely change; knowing that first I seldom finish these projects in one fel swoop, second that no matter how hard I tried I just wouldn't have time in three days to get it all done, and third that lugging out the air conditioners and installing them was just out of the question. So instead I focused on the clothes. I first made a big mess by pulling out all of my summer boxes and just about everything else until I found them all. Then I began to sort them. There were things there that I thought at the end of last summer I would wear again, but have decided I no longer like, just aren't me or that really don't fit. At the same time I was doing this I was sorting through my winter clothes, mending some, chucking some and prepping everything else to be washed. Once I had everything out of the boxes, winter wrinkles pressed out, and it all hung up, I washed and pressed all of my winter things then began to press them in preperation for summer storage. These two projects did take the whole three day weekend.
I must admit I am not a self driving slave about work around the house,so I managed to get a couple of books read in the interum.
That is all for now. There are things going on at work that I want to note here but which may just blow over. If they haven't by next week I may add them here before I go on to the next entry.
